                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO ZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 2829 ELINOR
                   STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF ELINOR
                   STREET AT SHINGLE ROAD, TO R-1 ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to zone:
               
                A tract of land located at 2829 Elinor Street,
                being on the northwest line of Elinor Street at
                Shingle Road.  Lot 31 and part of lots 27 and 29,
                Cravens and McMillins Addition to Lookout Mountain,
                as shown by plat of record in plat book 2, page 39,
                ROHC, together with part of Elinor Street and part
                of Shingle Road; being the Walldorf Annexation Area
                as described in Chattanooga City Ordinance No.
                10192.  Tax Map No. 155I-B-5.
               
               
         to R-1 Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
